Leslie T. Powell, a third-generation Houstonian, formed the company in 1995 after a successful career in medical sales.  Ms. Powell was seeking a new challenge and recognized that a tremendous opportunity existed in the growing field of large-scale business computing.  She established a business partnership with International Business Machines Corporation that has continued to flourish well into its second decade of operation.

Under Mrs. Powell’s direction MARK 3 has grown from a one-woman enterprise to a multi-million-dollar company with a team of experienced IT account and technical professionals.  The company's clients range from Fortune 500 customers to small and medium businesses to public sector entities, predominantly in central or south Texas.  Despite the recent challenging economy, we have continued to serve our clients and have posted record years in 2008 and 2009.
